Working with Sheryl Carbonell has been an incredible experience. She is patient and kind, yet always honest and constructive in her feedback. Her practical approach makes her sessions clear and effective, while her professionalism created a supportive and encouraging environment. Sheryl has a gift for bringing out the best in her students, and I am truly grateful for the growth I’ve experienced under her guidance thus far.

Oh, do we recommend Ms. Sheryl!
We’ve known and worked with Ms. Sheryl for many years, and she has been such a blessing to our family. Both of my daughters not only learned music theory and grew as singers, but they also had the joy of being around someone so talented, encouraging, and positive.

One of my daughters discovered such a love for music in high school that she went on to study Music Education in college and is now a first-year high school chorus director. I know Ms. Sheryl’s influence was a big part of that journey.

My other daughter started out not all that interested in choir, but with Ms. Sheryl’s encouragement she gained confidence, began taking voice lessons, and went on to earn solos and even a lead role by the time she finished high school chorus.

We are so thankful for Ms. Sheryl and the way she shares her gifts. She has touched our daughters’ lives in such a meaningful and lasting way.

Ann Fairweather, Business Professional, Mother, Wife, Athlete

I played the piano as a child, but like many others, I stopped once I entered college. After inheriting my childhood piano, I would look at it each day, thinking about getting back into playing, but I knew I needed help to relearn. Thankfully, I met Sheryl!

Sheryl agreed to take me on as a student and made the process of relearning both enjoyable and straightforward. She allowed me to guide the lessons based on my interests and abilities. Her extensive knowledge of music theory helped me understand each piece before I started playing, which enhanced my understanding of music as a whole.

Sheryl often challenges me with pieces that I wouldn't typically choose and that are slightly more difficult to master. Each time, she encourages me by saying, "You can do it; you are ready." Her support has given me the confidence to explore new genres and tackle higher levels of difficulty.

Overall, I highly recommend Sheryl for piano lessons, as she is suitable for students ranging from beginners to advanced players. She is patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I have developed a new love for playing and know that I will continue as long as I can.
